As a first generation college graduate with a PhD, I have a combined 25 years of experience in teaching, research, advising, curriculum writing, and supervision in pre-k thru higher education in both public and private settings. I have presented at local, national and international conferences, studied in Reggio Emilia Italy, and have multiple published works. I am a grant writer who has served on multi-million dollar grant writing teams. I am a working professional artist, 2x Emmy Nominee, and Gold and Silver Telly Award recipient in the categories of History and Short Form Documentary (just to name a few).
